Tourism is the fastest growing and the most dynamic industry of the world.Because tourism is a smoke-free and pollution-free industry and it will bring direct benefits,the prospects for its development turn to be much more brightly.For this reason,tourism industry between areas as well as tourism enterprises in the same area becomes more and more competitive.Thus many native government sectors made a series of strategic planning and some corresponding strategies on the local development of tourism industry.One of the important aspects is the designing of tourism image.At present,how to highlight local resources among competitors of the same industry is an important topic that is worthy of studying.The topic of greatest concern is to establish a good image,increase awareness and expand and occupy the market.Therefore there have been a number of researches about tourism image both at home and abroad.But anyhow,it starts earlier abroad and lays emphasis more on basic theories.Starting from tourism destination it self,the researches measure and analyze the factors of image sense of visitors.The method appears to be diverse abroad.It begins a little later in our country,and the researches emphasized more on practicality from the very beginning.Researches on destination it self is few,and so are the quantitative researches.In this paper,the auther takes the studies of tourism image for Chongqing Yunyang Longgang Geopark for example.To measure and design the image of this geopark,the article is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction.I put forward the background and significance.Meanwhile,I summarized and concluded the studies of tourism image of home and abroad.The second part is the basis of theory.I mainly introduced the formation and the law of tourism image,and theories on designing of tourism image,including the conception,theories and methods of designing,and the strategies of the dissemination.In addition,I also introduced the theory named "balance" model of measurement.The third part is called local study of Yunyang Longgang geoparks.In this paper I introduced the general nature situation,the status of tourism resources,infrastructure and service facilities and so on.The fourth section describes the specific methods and implementation procedures by measuring Chongqing Yunyang Longgang national geopark with the "balance" model.The fifth part is the designing program of the image in Chongqing Yunyang Longgang national geopark.By summing up the results according to the measurements and finding out the problems,the author then designed the slogan and image elements.Finally I gave the effective marketing communications.The sixth part is conclusions and prospects.The innovation in this paper lies in the measurement image of geoparks.At present there are only three studies on image of geoparks,which lack empirical things and thus are limited to theoretical research.Most of the studies are on the city's image,which is why this article is worth of studying.The study of tourism image in domestic always remained in the design and dissemination.It mainly focuses on practicality,while the basic theory and measurement are rarely studied.The latter will become increasingly important in the future.By an analysis of local context in this paper,the author gives the program on the measurement of the geopark's image, which enriched the content of the image of planning.The purpose of planning and disseminating the image of tourism is to enable the scenic spot to be known for tourists,thus they can participate in the tourism activities.The local culture can also be recognized by public and the society and local economic can be promoted by enhancing the image.The planning of image of national Longgang geopark in Yunyang is given for the first time in the area.By planning of the image of geopark,the unique image can be set to visitors,so as to develop the local socio-economic.
