With our country joins the WTO much more deeply and the global economic integration is intensifying, the market challenge become more and more complex, people are more concerned about diversification of goods and services, attaching more important to functions, personalities and best quality, more needs have been imposed on the production management and manufacture technology, so the production system should pursue flexibility to satisfy the market needs. So the increase on production operations management become more important, Lean Manufacturing can help company to build core competence in the global competition. It helps the company adopting low cost manufacturing strategy. Speed and elimination of waste is the aim for lean production. One Piece Flow method increases the flexibility of line and makes the mass customerization possible in the complex process. The performance of Lean Production can improve the achievement on customer satisfaction, types flexibility, productivity, cost of inventory, morale of the staff, size of production floor, the invest of resource, etc, elimination waste adds value directly into profit.Y company faces the problem during the globalization and quick expansion. Therefore, enterprises are driven to be in pursuit of diversifying and increasing complexity of products, shortening the product lift circle, this increases the operation cost. Y company also have to be faced with unprecedented fierce competitions. In such a situation, low cost management should adapt to new environment in terms of both conceptions and methods. Lean Manufacturing operation strategy is adopted by Y company to provide higher quality and lower cost products. The thesis analyzed the administer actuality in Y company on the basis of business process. There are many problems in Y company, such as production, 5S, quality management and inventory management. It analyzed the competition environment for Y company by five forces diagram, facing uncertain market and quick development, according to the reality of Y company, follow lean theory, it researches some projects for lean production in practice, cell line and value flow chart in order to improve efficiency, some suggestions to shorten the operation change time. By using TQM to improve the production quality, it takes the pattern of inventory management, it can build the continuous improvement enterprise culture. The last part is the full summary and forecast introducing its main innovation as well as the next step of research direction. The thesis is useful for Y company in some ways. This thesis utilizes the method of analysis and synthesis, summarizes and abstracts the lean production theory, use them to implementation research the theory of lean production design in Y company, and has formed the connotation of implementation research the theory of lean production design in Y company. In order to satisfy Y company need, the author picks the thesis topic. Also consult the data of lean production and operations management exactly, abstracts the lean production theory. Analyzed production operations in Y company, introduced the necessary of lean implementation, according to the reality of Y company, design lean production implementation plan, finally, summarize the available resul of lean.According to implement lean production in Y company, for example,the productivity and 5S was improved. Y company has built the continuous improvement culture with team work. Lean Production is a production method, also a culture and idea, more manufacturing corporations in China must learn best management practice. The Lean Thinking can help the enterprise management by reducing the cost and increasing productivities.
