Under the condition of world economic globalization, multi-demand and fiercely competitive Environment, it is necessary for every company to explore a way to improve the competitiveness and adapt to the situation. The implementation of Lean Production System aims to meet the customer's demand promptly. It is such a kind of production mode to seek individuation, low cost and punctuality, enhancing customer satisfaction and improving competitiveness in market, fully tapping the potentiality of company and forming an advantage in competition. To vigorously develop traditional manufacturing industry is the main strategic decision of China at present. But the production mode of traditional manufacturing company has become the key problem restricting development. The company has to treat the innovation and improvement of production mode as a system engineering and make tremendous efforts to implement it.Based on the Lean Production theories, using a case study method, starting with a case analysis of implementing Lean Production System in machining branch factory of Bingtian Company, this thesis analyzes and discusses the process and way to push Lean Production Mode in traditional manufacturing company, and profoundly summarize the problem and experience of the company during implementing the said system, followed by bringing forward relevant advice. This thesis firstly introduces the thinking and meaning of this research, and brings forward the management issue centered on the process and result of implementing Lean Production in this branch factory. Then analyzes and studies the case applying the basic theory of Lean Production. Lastly puts forward suggestion on how to push Lean Production in traditional manufacturing company in the light of reality. The article will also give solution and method on how to develop and implement Lean Production in a production unit of a tradition manufacturing company, providing reference for these traditional manufacturers to improve production mode and enhance core competitiveness of company.
