With the development of globalization, competitions between cities become more and more intensive. The importance of city marketing is becoming extremely obvious. However, in our county, we have many misunderstands and vacancies to city marketing in the fields of theory and practice. By reasons of many features existed between city and corporation is that microcosmic marketing main body, so it is necessary for us to research how to introduce market to city, make city marketer nicety of absorb idea and method of city marketing, avoid the abuse of copying the mode of corporation marketing .At the same time, we combine the base principle of corporation marketing with the theory and practice of city development, put out strategy of city marketing of China feature, expecting to offer feasible thoughtfulness and measures to city governments in order to build up city image and gain big-step development under economic globalization. The article is the result of this endeavor.On purpose preliminary establish a city marketing theory of China feature, we analyses city marketing to make a research frame. Combine the shortcoming of city marketing, we put forward two base of strategies of city marketing, one is the base strategy of city marketing; the other is the fabrication strategy of city marketing. It is the process of the confirmation target market and occupation the target market. This process including the discusses of the environment of city marketing, the advantage and the disadvantage of city marketing, the market of city marketing, the product of city marketing, the price of city marketing, the promotion of city marketing and so on.
