The logistics is named as "the third source of profit", and material management is the fundamental part of construction corporations. The vigorous logistics provide new ideas for the mechanism innovation and deepen development of the material management. This thesis aims at the problems of each process of the material management in the construction corporations, and mainly studied the three problems: suppliers select, inventory control, and material management in construction locale.The thesis introduces the related principles and steps of the selection of the suppliers, and designs the evaluate index system of the selection of the suppliers. Based on the index system, the TOPSIS(Technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution) method and the optimal models are used to make decision. The methods added the rationality of the decision, so it could increase the profit and reduce the supply risk.The inventory control problem is discussed in charter 3, and we analyze the benefits and the shortcomings of the inventory. Then ABC Emphases Control method is introduced. We simply explain how these methods could be used in the construction corporations. And the corporations could select appropriate methods according to their conditions, so they could reduce the inventory cost and increase the profit.The thesis analyzes that the site material management is the main aspect of construction site management, enters into the conclusion that the site material management is one way to increase the benefit. The decisive point of Logistics Management of the Company is the site material management.The sustainable development logistics system of the construction industry is discussed too. The meaning of the sustainable development logistics system of the construction industry is introduced, and it points out the sustainable system is properties as multi-object, border-extended and function-expanded. And an operation pattern is proposed which based on the joint distribution of the construction materials and joint collection of the construction rubbishes, this operation pattern could bring many benefits as economic benefit, social benefit and environment benefit to the corporations. At last, the methods to design the sustainable development logistics system of the construction industry are simply discussed.
