The Study On The Impact Of International Trade Upon The Resident Income Gap Between Southern And Northern Of Jiangsu

Since reform and opening up, Jiangsu has made great achievements in economic growth which was derived partly by the development of foreign trade of Jiangsu Province. With the rapid development of economy and foreign trade, the income gap of residents of Jiangsu Province was increasing and became the current focus of attention., among which the regional imbalance in income between southern Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu is prominent most .The excessive income gap between Sourthen and North Jiangsu residents will not only affect the economic efficiency of Jiangsu Province, bust also affect the stability of society as a whole, and ultimately restrict the economic and social development of Jiangsu Province. Well, whether the rapid development of foreign trade of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Province affected the income gap between North Jiangsu residents? And how did this impact happened?First of all, the paper reviewed the study at home and abroad on the relationship between trade development and income gap and got a summary of previous studies .Though this review I got my paper's research methods, the content of this article, the framework, and potential `innovation and difficulties.Then, this paper measured the Theil coefficient for the income gap of the residents among Jiangsu province and found that the overall contribution of the income gap between the regions of Jiangsu Province is most of all. And though the measure of the Absolute difference, standard deviation, External ratio, Coefficient of variation of the income gap between Northern and Southern of Jiangsu ,the paper analyzed and got the conclusion that the income gap between Southern and Northern of Jiangsu tends to be rised and this gap had some adverse impact on the harmonious development of social and economic.At the same time, the paper analyzed the status of foreign trade in Jiangsu Province, and made a cooperation between Southern and Northern of Jiangsu and found that the size of foreign trade, foreign trade dependence of Southern of Jiangsu is higher than Northern of Jiangsu, Combined the traditional theory of trade gap trade impact on income distribution with the current international trade of Jiangsu Province, the paper found that six factors of international trade of Jiangsu caused and impact the income gap between Southern and Northern of Jiangsu.The paper also used time series econometric models and quantitative analysis to make empirical analysis the influence of international trade to income gap. And found that there are some positive correlation between international trade and income gap of the residents between Southern and Northern of Jiangsu, which indicated that imbalance in the development of foreign trade of Jiangsu indeed impacted the income inequality between Southern and Northern of Jiangsu..Finally, combined the previous theoretical with empirical analysis ,the paper raised some positive and effective policy recommendations on how to narrow the income gap based on the conclusions of studies .Summed up and proposed the future research directions.
