The Research On The Income Gap Of Residents Between The Southern And Northern Part Of Xinjiang

Since the policy of Reform and Opening-up,our country has experienced for nearly 30 years of double-digital economic growth and also exceeded the development of Japan in 2010,as the world's second largest economy,greatly enhances and improves the people's life.But rapid economic growth also brings some problems.By tracing the investigation of Chinese families' property,researchers from Beijing university come to the conclusion that China's current income inequality is growing which is published in the "2015 China development report of the people's livelihood".There is no denying that this is an inevitable question of the current reform and development,also of the achievement of the "new three steps strategy",especially of achieving the first step to build a well-off society which must strive to be solved.Xinjiang no matter from the geography,population,ethnic,economic or social development,the gap between the rich and the poor and the residents' income gap appear more complex and difficult.From this perspective,we define the objects as the southern and northern part of Xinjiang in order to narrow the residents' income gap,to implement the "maintaining social stability and security" target,so the division has a very important and practical meaning.Based on the method of literature research,combing the analysis of qualitative and quantitative,using the comparison of horizontal and vertical method.Taking Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture as the represent of the northern Xinjiang and Kashgar Prefecture as the represent of the southern Xinjiang,then use the two objects to conduct comparative analysis.Referring to the statistical yearbooks of Xinjiang and the Xinjiang' around states' statistical bulletins' contents to extract relevant datas,using factor analysis method to analyze Xinjiang residents' income gap in order to generate an empirical description and a scientific result.The result is that natural environment,industrial structure,social security,different levels of education are the reasons why income gap of residents is widening.Finally,on how to solve the problem of income gap between the residents in northern and southern Xinjiang,suggested that respecting the laws of nature in order to realize the harmoniousdevelopment of local conditions;Optimizing the economic structure in order to improve the residents' income;Improving the social security system in order to perfect the relevant policy system;Strengthening the education levels in order to improve residents' professional skills.
