The Factor Analysis Of Economical Disparity Between Southern Jiangsu And Northern Jiangsu

The unequal development of regional economic is a common phenomenon around the world, if only there are disparities such as natural, economical, social, there will be unequal, especially the disparities of production factor's growth rate and distributing method. The measure and control of the unequal development of regional economic is always been concerning by many economists around the world.Recently, the development of Jiangsu Province keeps growing quickly, which plays an important part in national economic. However the flourish of Jiangsu Province is unequal, unoverall and unsatisfying currently and it can be realized in this way that there are huge distances and obvious economic disparities within Jiangsu Province.This paper first reviews regional economic development theory at home and abroad and analyzes the progress of Jiangsu economical disparity research. Drawing upon per GDP, the paper calculates economic absolute and comparative disparities between Southern Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu and describes its evolving process. Based on the above works and neoclassical economic growth theory, the paper quantifies various factors that affect the economical disparity between Southern Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu and designs econometric model to find main factors and account the contribution rate that each factor does to the economical growth. The content of the last part of this paper is about some specific suggestions for narrowing the economic disparities between Southern Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu.
