With the changing from traditional management of enterprise to the strategic management, the traditional performance evaluation system shows the defect. Business value comes from a series of activities, such as design, purchase, produce, sales, service and product development. These activities link together become business value chain. Performance evaluation, as a key way to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, it is necessary to study how to bring it into an important role under the value chain management. Base on the research of the system of performance evaluation in the value chain, this article strive to answer this question, in order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, a performance evaluation system should be build with the center of business process; each process achieves the level of"low cost, high profit".First of all, the article describes the background of enterprise value chain and the performance assessment. Furthermore, it shows the purpose and significance, which identifies the direction, content, methods and technical routes of research.Secondly, this article analyzes the theoretical basis of the system of performance evaluation in the value chain, which includes the performance theory, value chain theory and interface management theory. Meanwhile, the article makes the definition of the system.Thirdly, this article builds the model of the system of performance evaluation in the value chain, and for a deeper analysis. On this basis, at the same time, it sets up the index system. Moreover, from the interface management, article makes further analysis about the model and index system.Finally, with the model of the system of performance evaluation in the value chain, this article analysis the Performance evaluation of the situation and existing problems in Shanxi Fen Jiu Chang Corp., meanwhile, it proposed a new performance appraisal system to help the company's development .
