Automobile Industry Development Strategy Research Of Jinlin Province

Since reform and opening up, China's automobile industry has gain the world-noted achievements, and to a large extent shown the downstream industries associated degree, strong capital accumulation and large employment population characteristics. Currently, China's auto industry has a total of 3,601 manufacturers, and the size of the total assets is 527.743 billion Yuan. China's auto market in 2006 amounted to 7.2 million, and the sales momentum of sustained growth, but all vehicle production in China is only equivalent to a medium-size international Automotive Group, and this is not consistent with the position of that China is now the world's second largest country for automobile demand after America. Therefore, the development of China's automobile industry has a long way to go.Jilin province is the cradle of China's auto industry, during the past 50 years, Jilin province's total production of vehicles amounted to 4.646 million, and occupied 12.7% of the total production of the national and ranks the first in 31 provinces. FAW Group as the core of the auto industry in Jilin Province, with an annual output of 1 million cars vehicle production capacity, production and sales have maintained about 20% of the domestic auto market. The automobile industry is the first pillar industry of Jilin Province, close to 80% of the province's industrial growth rate relying on the auto industry's pull, and influence the overall economic development in Jilin Province all the time. The government Jilin province also has taken various effective policies and measures to develop the automotive industry and expand the firm determination to resolve relying on the FAW, servicing FAW, supporting FAW. Clearly, the fate of auto industry development and Jilin Province has been closely linked.This paper mainly studies the international and domestic automobile industry development trends, analyzing the development of its policy and from a comparing angle, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the development of the auto industry in Jilin Province, and against its development strategy, put forward some constructive suggestions and development ideas.
