Economic zone is the effective functioning space unit of regional economic,research spatial object and application premise of classic regional economics. The formation of economic zone is not only a study on regional economics theory problem, but also the economic development problem of Chinese regional economics. At the same time, the formation of economic zone is also the one of the difficulties problem in teaching of regional economics.Based on the analysis of related issues, try to resolve the problem in teaching ,and promote the relevant theoretical research and empirical research. Firstly, author try to re-expression and definition of the concept of economic zone by means of comment and review the concept of economic zone, and a summary of the characteristics of economic zone; Secondly, summed up the problems of economic zone's formation research by means of comment and review the theories,conditions and models of economic zone's formation.Thirdly, analyse the difficulties of the economic zone's formation in the teaching. Finally, analyse two obstacles of Chengyu economic zone's formation from theoretical: the local Government cut-throat competition and regional cultural conflict.And then, advance the reform of the regional management bodies and construct circle of regional cultural economics to promote the formation of Chengyu economic zone. Apply the program in teaching practice as a case, enrich the teaching content. In addition, the author believes that the formation of economic zones teaching reform can make of prepare the case by teachers and teacher-student interaction teaching model. On the one hand, promote develpoment of research; On the other hand, improve the student's abilities that discover, analyse and solve the problem.
