Study On Production Planning Of The ERP Based On Make To Order

The sales mode has been changed from "sales determined by products" to "limit production to market ability ", that is, the market and user's demands guide to arrange the manufacturing. After the receipt of orders, the manufacturing enterprises should complete such a complex technology and management job as product design, planning, materials purchasing and manufacturing. As soon as the orders change, the production planning change. This may cause master production scheduling, material requirement planning are entirely out of joint with job shop scheduling, or the three are difficult to reconcile. In order to make full use of production capacity to achieve the scheduled delivery of orders, the production planning of the ERP system based on make to order is studied in detail in this paper.The major work of this paper are as follows:[1].The definition, characteristics and work flow of the manufacturing mode for make to order are elaborated, and the key technologies of the ERP system based on make to order is analyzed.[2] .The disadvantages and advantages of common BOM structures and the traversal algorithm of BOM are analyzed, and a new BOM structure—improved BOM hierarchical structure is put forward, and the hierarchical decomposition BOM traversal algorithm is used to traverse BOM table with stored process in database. Meanwhile, the effect of production planning in the ERP systems, the key technologies of the production planning, and the requirement of make to order for the production planning are analyzed. Lastly, the process of making the production planning based on make to order is analyzed concretely with the scrolling period method, and a case study is given, which shows that the method of the production planning mentioned above is feasible.[3] .The form and characteristics of the order changes and the methods and characteristics of the traditional production planning dealing with the order changes are summarized. Then the content and the characteristics of the consistency of production planning are analyzed, and the formal definition of the consistency of production planning is given, at last the principle of dealing with order changes and the process of dealing with order changes are analyzed concretely.[4].Based on studies above, the ERP prototype system based on make to order is developed and the functions of the system is introduced simply. Therefore, the correctness of the above research and feasibility are verified.
