The Research On China's Minimum Wage System And The Improvement Of The Countermeasures

The minimum wage system is a necessary method for the government to intervene the labor relations,which plays an important role in protecting the workers to gain the reasonable payments.Since 1993,China has been implementing the minimum wage system by learning the experience of the international conventional practice.From the very beginning of practice, many scholars have been warmly discussing the necessity of existing and the efficiency of implementation of the minimum wage system.However,the effect of implementing the minimum wage system in our country is not fully satisfactory.Therefore, it is helpful to promote the harmonious development of society by comparing and learning the international the minimum wage system policy, analyzing the efficiency of the minimum wage system implementation to improve the minimum wage system policy of our country at the present stage.This thesis analyses the rationality of China's minimum wage standards in different parts and the social effects of implementing of the minimum wage system,which guided by the theoretical basis of the theory of survival wage,Marx's theory of the minimum wage and efficiency wage theory,as well as the study of the implementation of Britain and the United States'minimum wage system.Facing the situation of the practice of the minimum wage system of our country at present stage,it puts up forward the policy advices by the methods of improving the minimum wage standard measurement methods, unifying the contents and adjusting the time of minimum wage standards,as well as improving the management of the minimum wage system.The establishment of minimum wage system makes an important breakthrough in the field of salary reform of our country.Besides by using the flexibility of the policy system itself to reduce its negative effects,we need propose solutions of the problems in all aspects in the running process.It is helpful to protect the workers rights by implementing minimum wage system policy,which expresses the spirit of the concern on humanities by the government and shows the national responsibility and social progress.
