The Research Enterprise Scale In The Industrial Cluster Environments

The Industrial Cluster is playing more and more important part in economic development nowadays, in the meantime the researches on related problems have been ongoing abroad. The existing research results analyze more on the theory sources of Industrial Cluster and Enterprise Cluster Advantages, while less on the functions of Enterprise Cluster Environment to the Enterprise Scale. Meanwhile, Enterprise Scale itself is one major subject of heated discussion in the economic circles, which varies from the "Black Box" theory of the Neo-classical economic school to the contractual theory of the firm brought up by the transaction costs school. These theories couldn't fully explain the real Enterprise Scale.Following the norms of Economics study, this paper joint Theoretical Analysis and empirical study together. According to previous researches, I will divide the Enterprise Scale into two dimensions, and bring up the different influencing factors on these two dimensions basing on the scale economy and optimal scale theory. The Industrial Cluster could save the transaction cost, which is the main factor influencing Enterprise Scale. But the ways that the Industrial Cluster impact on the enterprise's decision-making differ in the longitudinal size and horizontal size. Taking transaction cost into account, enterprises inside the cluster have more competitive advantages; they could choose horizontal size in accordance with the changes in the market made up by the cluster environment, on which basis, weigh the interests of Vertical Integration and vertical decomposition to decide their longitudinal size. Finally, 1 will do a rough analysis on the role of reality of the size of the enterprise as a whole.Following the research ideas and methods above, this paper is generally divided into four parts:Part one mainly introduces the background, methods and significance of this research, elaborate the status quo and basic concepts of the researches both domestic and foreign-related.Part two mainly cards existing researches related, on the basis of which studies the business environment decision from the economies of scale Theory and the optimal size of the theory, meanwhile analyses the scale of enterprises through the dimensions both longitudinal and horizontal.Part three is the core of this article; I will follow the basic conclusion of the decision-scale enterprises by the Neo-classical economics and Institutional economics, do behavior analysis both on the longitudinal and horizontal choices under Cluster Environment.Part four is the end, first I will measure the manufacturing level of aggregation in representative industries of Zhejiang Province, then according to the Panel Data Analysis, put forward the conclusion of this article.
