Study On Management For Indian Mundra Thermal Power Project By JS Company Under EPC Contract Mode

Now project management becomes the major disadvantage of Chinese enterprises for international project business. For those in international projects markets, foreign economic cooperation enterprise faces bigger chanllenge and difficult because of the lack of project technoledge and human resources. This paper stated how JS company improve its project management organization and methodoledge for management of time, resources and costs, thus to efficiently control the time and cost to gain the predicted revenue.In this paper, it introduced first the background of JS company and mundra power project. In the second chapter, theory of common management and basic principle of project management are combined to make a point of view that, mordern project management shall take objective management as guideline and system management as mothodoledgy, with intensive introduction of network planning technique as well as the appliance of project management softwear. Then this paper divided the project management system into enterprises net, project net and task net with statement of objects and content for each net, and introduced especially the consortium mode of project management organization by JS company under EPC contract mode. This paper also use network planning technigue and P3 softwear to make the network plan of mundra power project, and optimized the schedule and resources. Moreover, it stated the process of tracing and controlling of plan and the matter need to be solved, then different tools and method integrated by P3 softwear was used to solve these matters as well so as to efficiently employ tracing and controlling of the plan. Finally, this paper gives us relevant results, and point out the important things for foreign economic cooperation company toward to successfu project management - the combination of adapted organization and advanced project manangement methodoledgy.
