The competition between enterprises in modern society is very fierce.The competitiveness of an enterprise not only embodies in its capital,personnel,facilities and other hard strength,but also embodies in its soft power such as management level,which can usually be reflected through its project management level.Equipment installation companies,which provide customers with installation services,can shorten and ensure the installation duration,improve customer satisfaction and enhance their market competitiveness through project management,especially schedule management.This article first introduced the characteristics,the scheduling problems,the immediate cause and root cause of A equipment installation,and then introduced the principles and objectives of the improvement plan of the project schedule management,and finally introduced the improvement plan,the implementation and implementation effect of the improvement plan.During the chapter of implementation,the article introduced how to modify the organization structure,how to break down the project,how to use the network planning technique and the critical path method to shorten the planned installation schedule,how to manage the key activities to ensure the schedule of installation and equipment acceptance.The implementation results of the improvement plan are described in the performance evaluation chapter.It is hoped that the methods and successful practices involved in this study can be used for reference by other organizations.
