Study Of Central City Network Development Model Of Shanxi

Shanxi is a special province in the six provinces of Central China. Three industries of Shanxi have"231" features. In the second industry, coal, coke, iron, power and so on play predominant roles. The resource-based cities account for a large proportion of its central cities. Most of the pillar industries are resources-related industries and heavy industries in Shanxi. Central Cities are convergence between their industrial structures. Shanxi's economic and its urban economies urgently need to find a better development of Road. This article hopes to resolve this problem by formulating the central city network development model in Shanxi.Firstly,this paper makes analysis and remark of three developing models: growth pole model, point-axis model and network development model. Basis on the theory of Multi-Polarization network development model and the network development model , this paper proposes the idea of central city network development model, combing with the present development situation in Shanxi. On the basis of the present point-axis system, this paper construct the basis frame of central city network then expounds the three levels of central city network of Shanxi by using the meaning of three levels in economic geography.Next, the paper makes quantitative analysis of central cities by using the Urban Primacy Index and accessibility index and makes quantitative analysis of central city network by using connection degree. The conclusion is the central city network of Shanxi is still in the start-up periods, that is to say, the tree network to circle network. And this matches with the original position of central city network. Combination of planning the"Veins"Spatial Patterns in Shanxi, the paper pointed out that in 2020 if built the transportation network by planning, Central city network development model in Shanxi will be a truly regional network development.Finally, this paper put forwards a series of policy suggestions from the angle of the Government, including strengthening planning and construction of transportation network and information network, the building of a unified regional market, speeding up the process of urbanization, the establishment of official city coordination agencies and the civil coordination organizations, encouraging central city to strengthen links with the outside world, speeding up the development of large enterprise groups and so on.
