With the development of social productive force, the layout and structure of land utilization become complicated. In some certain areas, in order to achieve the certain social,ecological and economic benefits optimization of land utilization system as well as the goal of sustainable utilization of land resources, the study on optimization of land utilization structure has become the urgent thesis for land science, especially for the land utilization. Besides, the discussion about appropriate allocation of land utilization structure from the aspects of space and time depends on the system optimization method. During the process of land planning, the system optimization method is the process that conducting the analysis on the basis of mathematical model. Nowadays, to apply the optimization method in land planning is one of the development trends of modern land planning.Ant Colony Algorithms is one kind of new heuristic calculation method with a lot advantages. After the application of the Ant Colony Algorithms in the regional land resources structure optimization, to put forward the optimization model of regional land resources structure optimization which is based on Ant Colony Algorithms is new trial. Based on the system optimization model, this article works out the reasonable plan for the regional land resources structure optimization, and realizes the social,economic and ecological benefits maximum in the research through utilizing the insufficient lands.Taking the Liuzou City as the research area, this conducts research about optimum distribution of land utilization structure through applying the Ant Colony Algorithms. The main content includes: (1) By conducting comprehensive explanation about the basic theories and technical means of land utilization structure optimization, it provide the theoretical basis for the optimization of land utilization structure of Liuzhou City. (2) The external environment of Liuzhou City' s land utilization is analyzed from the aspects including geological location, natural condition and economic condition, in addition, it makes the quantitative analysis and evaluation on land utilization status of Liuzhou City from the aspects which involving quantity structure,spatial structure as well as composite structure of land utilization type. By this way, it provides the realistic foundation for land utilization structure optimization. (3) According to the datas of Liuzhou City over the years, the Ant Colony Algorithms model is established. Based on the model' s self-study capacity and the ability for dealing with the nonlinear problem, the article optimizes the land utilization structure of Liuzhou City. Furthermore, by applying the Matlab, the optimal plan of Lizhou City' s land utilization structure optimization is brought forth, meanwhile, this article put forward the safeguard measures for effective accomplishment of this plan. The practice has shown that it is feasible to apply the Ant Colony Algorithms in regional land utilization structure optimization and conduct the quantitative and qualitative optimization evaluation, and this optimal method can offer the reference for the adjustment of land utilization structure and establishment of general land utilization planning of Liuzhou City in the future.
