Comparative Research On Beijing's Women Fashion Colors In 2008 And 2009

After the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the grand celebrations of the 60th anniversary of People's Republic of China have aroused another round of world-wide attentions to the city of Beijing. The dream of Beijing being a world fashion capital seems more realistic as this historical and cultural city is making more exhibitions on the international fashion arena. The first step to make this dream come true is to have an accurate and comprehensive knowledge of Beijing's fashion industry. However, there has been a deficiency of systematic monitoring and analytic reports on the researches on the clothing colors. This thesis stands out and contributes to this neglected area by initiating systematic monitor and research on the usage of colors in China's municipal fashion market, and comparing and analyzing the results in a comprehensive way.The emphasis of this study is researching the Beijing's women costume color in costume market, through surveying, analyzing and contrasting, I conclude some color application characters of some typical brands for surveying; analyze the influencing factors of costume color application; at last sum up some universal elements and rules of costume color application with Natural Colour System in costume market. So as to provide the important guiding opinions and supporting theory, which can help company frame colors of new costume products, fashion trend and forecasting organizations research the fashion color forecasting, and also can help build and develop Beijing costume industry; and offset the weakness which lack surveying and analyzing in color application in Chinese costume industry for long time.
