The main purpose of China's land consolidation is to improve utilization ratio and output rate of land resource, to increase the amount of available land, so the virtuous cycle of society benefits, economy benefits and environment benefits can be ensured. At present, China's engineering measures in land consolidation projects contain 4 items:land levelling project, farmland water conservancy project, field roads project and water and soil conservation project.The purpose of farmland water conservancy project is to improve the matching of land and water resources,so water resource in the project area can be used rationally and effectively. Therefore, the design of farmland water conservancy project is directly related to the success or failure of land consolidation project.Only by an exact analysis on water supply and demand situation in the project area's can we carry out rational distribution of water conservancy projects, and resolve the contradiction between water supply and demand.Regional water resource and land resource are limited natural resources, and they are complementary and mutually constraining:First, water resource is one of the basic conditions for land resource to achieve maximum production. Second, the level of utilization of land resource will in turn affect the efficiency of water use and sustainability.Thus, in land consolidation projects,precise analysis on regional water resource is a prerequisite for rational planning, is a step to adapt the need for the new situation of China's land development. And Chongqing's land consolidation,which took increased land as its only goal,after more than ten years' development,has returned to a new integrated land consolidation mode,which is in conjunction with rural industrial structure adjustment, the Three Gorges reservoir construction and the construction of a new countryside. To meet the changes of Chongqing's land consolidation's objectives in the future, and to promote the new rural construction in Chongqing, the accuracy of land consolidation planning and design should be gradually improved.Therefore, we are required to conduct a detailed study on the the water supply and demand balance analysis in the land consolidation.This article,based on changes in the concept of land consolidation in our country, pointed out the shortcomings which are existing in the analysis of water balance model in Chongqing's land consolidation,and according to regional characteristics in Chongqing, an optimization model of water balance analysis, which is in order to adapt the new concepts of land consolidation,was came up with. The 7 villages'land consolidation at Sangping Town in Yunyang County,Chongqing was taken as an example. The whole dissertation was divided into six parts:The first part is an overall introduction,it was consisted of the background and significance of thesis selection, and the research way and methods of the thesis.The second part studied the current water supply and demand balance analysis model in Chongqing land consolidation projects, and then analyzed and summarized its deficiencies.The third part took a brief analysis on the water balance analysis models in Chongqing land consolidation,based on various engineering type partitionIn the fourth part, combined with regional characteristics in Chongqing, the optimization model of water balance analysis, which complements the shortcomings of existing models, was came up with in order to adapt the new concepts of land consolidation. And then a detailed summary description of water demand and water supply quantity calculation methods on different types was introduced.In the fifth part, the 7 villages'land consolidation at Sangping Town in Yunyang County was taken as an example to use the optimization model.The sixth part is conclusions and discussions. By comparing the the existing methods and optimizaition model,this thesis made a conclusion about the advantages and disadvantages of the two in water balance analysis in Chongqing's land consolidation. At last the shortcomings of the study was discussed.The main conclusions of the thesis are as follows:(1)The current water resources analysis in Chongqing's land consolidation is so rough that the conclusions drawn from it often can not properly guide the farmland water conservancy project planning of the project area.(2)Water supply and demand balance analysis should be combined with the characteristics about land consolidation project partition type in Chongqing City:in the analysis in West Chongqing, characteristic of its hilly and low mountain terrain, the entire project area should be considered as a whole;whereas in East Chongqing characteristic of low mountain terrain, the project area should be divided into several parts. In the water supply analysis, in low- hill and flat-dam areas and hilly areas in West Chongqing,and in middle-low mountain areas in East Chongqing, the the actual supply of water available in the project area should be considered to decide whether the groundwater should be calculated; in the low mountains and karst trough slope areas in West Chongqing and low mountain and karst trough areas in East Chongqing, groundwater must be taken into account; in valley and flat dam areas in East Chongqing, groundwater should not be considered.(3) In Water demand analysis, life water, production water and ecological water requirement should be calculated;(4) The water quality of the project area should be considered in water supply analysis.
