Research On Peasants' Participation To The Special Cooperrative Organization In Wuhan

This thesis makes theoretical and practical exploration research on the peasant's special cooperative organization in Wuhan, with carrying out the theoretical perspective of sociological theories, collecting the materials by the document approach and questionnaire investigation, using a research method by qualitative and quantitative measures, basing on the literature research on this topic and the commutation of the peasant's special cooperative organization in Wuhan. In an aim to give useful suggestion on the development of the kind of organization in Wuhan, the author utilizes the investigation data to demonstrate the factors of the peasants who accede to peasant's specialized cooperatives or not, and then concludes some policies and measures base on the investigation data. The paper is comprised of the following six parts:The first part introduces the research purpose, significance situation and design. The second part introduces the detail of investigative areas and the features of sample. In the third part, it mainly includes a analysis of peasant's attitude and behavior to participate, with summarizing the peasants' estimation on the kind of organizations. In detail, the Wuhan peasant's specialized cooperatives have the features of fast developing, professional and diversified. Based on the analyzing the factors of the ratio of peasants taking part in specialized cooperatives with SPSS. The author considers that two aspect of factors, the macroscopic and the microscopic will affect the behavior decision of peasants taking part in specialized cooperative. The microscopic one includes the characteristics of peasants themselves and their planting features. The macroscopic contains the agriculture development in the area and the agricultural production markets. The fifth part gives out the problem of peasants' participation in the sample areas from two factors, as participant actor and participating environment. They are peasants' activity, strong motivation compared with weak activity, high expectation compared with low profit, the substitute of relative cooperation to the structural cooperation, agriculture industrial development, primary developing level of cooperative organization. Correspondingly, the relevant suggestions given out. In the final part, the author gives a reflective debate on the research emphasis and method, containing the western theories' available explanation ability and the construction of localization theory of Chinese realism, and the integrated ability of Questionnaire and Interview.
