Study On Travel Behavior Of Primary And Secondary School Teachers Of Qinhuangdao City

This paper chooses the primary and secondary school teachers of Qinhuangdao city as subjects for study. Following the tourist market research data collected at Haigang, Beidaihe, Shanhaiguan, taken on May, 2007 and April, 2008, and assisted with Statistical Yearbook of China National Tourism Administration in 2005, data of National Bureau of Statistics Bulletin in 2008, the author processes a lot of data and analysises the travel behavior of primary and secondary school teachers from different sides and then sums up the travel behavior characteristics of this tourist group.Firstly, this paper reviews the research on consumer behavior in travel from home and abroad, expounds the significance of the study on the primary and secondary school teachers of Qinhuangdao city and introduces the content, method and data of this study.Secondly, this paper defines the concepts of tourist behavior, traveling decision-making, tourism perception, tourism attitude and travel preferences, states the related theories and after pointing out the impact factors on tourist behavior , the analysis of process of travel behavior are also given.Thirdly, this paper sums up the characteristics of the tourism market of the primary and secondary school teachers of Qinhuangdao City, studies their travel decision-making behavior, travel time-space behavior and travel preferences behavior.Lastly, on the basis of the foregoing parts, this paper extracts the total travel behavior patterns of primary and secondary school teachers of Qinhuangdao City and describes those patterns in detail in accordance with gender, age, income and family structure.
