Research On Evaluation Of The Competitiveness Of Logistics Enterprise Based On Niche Theory

Nowadays, as increasing competition, how to improve the competitiveness of enterprises to get better return is becoming more and more important for logistics enterprises in China. First of all, for better improving the competitiveness of logistics enterprise, we must have a correct assessment, which requires the establishment of a scientific and rational evaluation system. Currently, in China, researchers begin to do academic research on it and some of them have got some academic positive result.This study introduces the concept of ecological niche into the study of evaluation of the enterprise competitiveness and defines the concepts of enterprise niche, competitiveness of enterprises, and other related concepts. Starting with the ecological niche theory, this study analyzes the relationships among enterprise niche, enterprise niche ecostate and ecorole and the competitiveness of enterprises. And this study also gradually clarifies how the enterprise niche incarnates the competitiveness of enterprises: under specific conditions, the enterprise niche differences and changes in enterprise niche reflect the competitiveness of enterprises, based on which, this study determines the division of the dimension of the competitiveness of logistics enterprises. Through literature reviewing, group interviewing and questionnaire surveying, we obtain evaluation indexes and design questionnaire. After finishing data collecting, using descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, validity testing, we confirm 29 indexes, and then, weight every index. Finally, this study use an example study to verify that the evaluation system is not only theoretically feasible, but also can better evaluate the competitiveness of logistics enterprises to achieve the expected results in practical applications. Then, this study proposes some advices for logistics enterprise to enhance competitiveness that enterprise should consider both ecostate and ecorole factors, enhancing any one dimension of the valuation system could help to enhance the competitiveness of logistics enterprises, especially, enterprise base resources, alliance resources, organization management capacity, operational capacity, information processing . capability.This study explores a new way of evaluating the logistics enterprise competitiveness by introducing niche theory into the evaluation of competitiveness and provides a new perspective and research ideas for the future logistics enterprise competitiveness evaluation study.
