With the expansion of the rural migrant works, the issue of rural migrant workers' employment and employability has caused the attention of scholars. The domestic research on employability stayed in the introduction to basic concept and basic standpoints of foreign research, lacking empirical research and theoretical innovation. Therefore, to define the employability of the rural migrant works, to find out the influence factor and to explore the measuring tool is very necessary.This research takes questionnaires to measure the employability of rural migrant workers with Fugate's model for reference. In this paper human capital variables are taken as control variables and the index system is composed of personal adaptability, career identity and social capital.Through empirical analysis, it is found that the ability to accept change, the ability to solve problems, market consciousness, perseverance and self-confidence, relatives and friends' support and social status are considerably important factors to influence the employability of rural migrant workers. However, the ability to self development, active interpersonal skills, the scope of social circles and the support of general relationship are not so important.The employability has significant differences with different gender, age and education. The employability of male migrant workers is generally above females', the employability of rural migrant workers under thirty-six is generally above persons over thirty-six, and the employability of rural migrant workers with a junior middle school education is significant better than persons with a primary school education.Finally, this article makes a further analysis of institutional system in the following aspects: the household registration system, legal system, land system, education, training and social security system.
