Research On Industry Competitiveness Of Biogas In Anhui Province Based On Diamond Model

As a clean energy, biogas can not only meet the energy needs, but also can improve the living conditions of rural people and meanwhile optimize the rural industrial structure which promotes the construction of new countryside constructively. Nowadays, China attaches great attention to the development of biogas industry with a series of supportive policies introduced. Biogas faces with good opportunities of development. However systematic research on how to promote the competitive power of the biogas industry has not been proceeded. Taking the competitive power as a view to investigate, based on Porter diamond model theory, and illustrated by Anhui province, this paper mainly conduct an systematic analysis of the industry competitiveness for biogas industry, and specific recommendations are put forward to promote industry competitiveness of biogas industry.Firstly this paper introduces the background and significance of the subject, the content and the structure of the paper. And then conduct a revies and analysis of the related theories of industry competitiveness and biomass energy as well as biogas industry. Thereafter, in chapter 3, the competitive theories are described a detailed analysis of Porter's Diamond Model. In chapter 4, statuses of biogas development in Anhui Province are presented. Afterwards, based on Porter's diamond model, analyze the factors that influence the competitiveness of biogas industry in Anhui from such six areas: factors of production, demand, related and supporting industries, strategy and structure of enterprises, opportunism and government action.Lastly, according to the current situation and shortages of biogas industrial competitiveness, and in connection with six factors, suggestions of promoting competitiveness of biogas industry in Anhui Province are put forward: expand financing channels and achieve standardization of technology; construct service platform to ensure the healthy development and promote related supportive industries; realize the commercialization of biogas industry and cultivate leading enterprises; strengthen the function of government in gas industry regulation and services.
