Research On The Development Of Sheshan National Tourist Vacation Resort's Agglomerative Tourism Operational Types

China's tourism industry has developed greatly during last thirty years after Reform and Opening Up, and gradually become a strategic mainstay industry in national economy. At present, tourism industry in China is undertaking the mission of transformation and upgrading. At the end of 2009 the State Council put forward "views on accelerating the development of tourism", which means that China will gradually adopt a series of initiatives to change the way of tourism development and upgrade the energy level of tourism industry, in order to make tourism industry follow the road of connotative development. Speeding up the development of agglomerative tourism operational types is one of the measures. The views mention that our country should speed up the development of National Tourist Vacation Resorts and regional tourism, which means the agglomerative tourism operational types play a very important role.There are twelve National Tourist Vacation Resorts in China. Sheshan national tourist vacation resort is one of them. It developed very slowly until 2005. There are two main reasons why the writer choose Sheshan national tourist vacation resort as the study object. First, it is worth to study the development process and characteristics of its agglomerative tourism operational types and learn its reference experience and development consideration. Second, Sheshan national tourist vacation resort is in a period to move into the higher stage and improve the comprehensive quality of agglomerative tourism operational types.
