With the continuous development of the national economy and the improvementof people’s living standard, the traditional mass tourism has not been able to meet the humanneeds on the spirit and the recreation of high level, therefore, vacation tour which sets leisure,entertainment, vacation and experience for the integration emerges as the times require, andChina’s tourism has gradually developed.Sichuan has high quality vacation resources and convenient holiday traffic, the mainvisitors come from Sichuan Province and Chongqing, and then the market of holiday tourismhas been stable, the government has also vigorously promoted the development of holidaytourism, which requires the theoretical research related to synchronous development. At present,relevant article relates to Sichuan tourism is rare, and the research mainly focus on such as hotspring holiday or holiday in the countryside which in a type of elements Qionghai Lake andXiling Snow Mountain which in a research of a single vacation resort are lack of comprehensiveresearch achievements on Sichuan vacation tourism. Therefore, this paper makes a deepresearch on the system of development in Sichuan vacation tourism.This paper uses the methods of literature study, field survey, questionnaire survey, mapanalysis and so on, based on the basic data, field investigation and the market of questionnairesurvey, This paper make an analysis the basic situation of vacation tourism development inSichuan, and discusses psychology, economics and industry development theory about Sichuanvacation tourism. Then, The paper studies on the case of Sichuan tourism resort to confirm thebasic rules of Sichuan vacation tourism development. At the same time, the author takesadvantage of the theoretical conditions to comprehensive analyze the needs of Sichuan holidaytourism development, from four aspects of its resources, spatial characteristics, traffic andholiday tourism market. secondly, she analyzes the main features of development process andstages of Sichuan tourism, and then classifies the Sichuan tourism resort from different angles. thirdly, she combined with the questionnaire investigation in Sichuan tourists, summarized theexisting problems in the development of Sichuan vacation tourism, and put forward somecountermeasures to solve the problem.Finally, this article could help to have a clear understanding of the characteristics,development process, the resource type, market conditions and the mode of resort developmentin Sichuan vacation tourism. Through this, the author hopes that the existing problems in thedevelopment of Sichuan vacation tourism can cause the attention of Sichuan governmentdepartments and academic circles, and then make them strengthen the development of scientificresearch and management of Sichuan vacation tourism, and then give advice and suggestions tothe healthy development of Sichuan vacation tourism and research of the provincial tourismresort.
