The Research On The Development Of Mineral Resources Industrial Cluster In Baishan City

As an international industry distribution form, Industry cluster, which is adapting to global international market demands, gradually take on the task of industry division under the context of economic globalization, and become one of the most extensive and unique phenomena in the development of contemporary economy. The latest researches in the field of public policies indicate that fostering local industry cluster is an important policy measure to improve the international competitiveness to meet the challenges of economic globalization. Since the mid-90s of the 20th century, a great number of regional governments in the countries of the world are changing the focus of public policies towards nurturing and developing local industry cluster, after concluding the advanced experience in and out of the country. The core of this transformation lies in the function of governments'macro regulation, which is to enhance the local production systems and to integrate the internal forces with the use of international resources to form a strong and competitive industry, and to promote the economy developing faster in this region.This paper is based on the project of this title: the research on the economy division and Industry development of Baishan City's Superior Mineral Resources.This paper is written to via studying and exploring the development of industry cluster in Baishan city, to analyze the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the opportunities and challenges, which are faced by this city in the forming process of industry clusters, and further study the development models and functions which governments play in the process of cultivation and development of industry cluster, to provide a theoretical guide to the local government. The content of this paper can be divided into seven parts:Part one, the introduction. This part described the research background, the significance of the topic, the research status and path at home and abroad.Part two, the general introduction of the related Theories. Clarities of the basic concepts, researches on the resource-based industry cluster, classifications of the industry cluster and the overview on its theory. Part three, the analysis of the forming basis of resource-based industry cluster and its characteristics. This chapter analyzes the basis of resource-based industry cluster, and the characteristics which resource-based industry cluster is different from the other industry clusters.Part four, the cultivation basis of mineral resource-based industry cluster for Baishan City. Analyze the features and advantages and trends of development for Baishan City.Part five, the SWOT analysis of cultivating and development of Baishan City for the cultivating resource-based industry cluster. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the opportunities and challenges which are faced by this city in the process of forming industry clusters.Part six, the development models of mineral resource-based industry cluster and government functions of Baishan City.Part seven, the conclusion.
