With the development of economy and communications, logistics is becoming an indispensable part of modern life. Trade liberalization and economic globalization bring a closer relationship between cities, regions as well as countries, meanwhile which is just the reason why the financial crisis overcast the whole world rapidly. The policy of direct and comprehensive opening of the three links between mainland China and Taiwan was put into practice against such social economic background, thus we can see the crucial role of this cross-strait action. This soon catches the attention of the public, especially those enterprises involving in international trade, cargo transport and logistics. In this circumstance, a research on the cross-strait logistics model is endowed with some special practical significance. This thesis was set in the newest global economic background and the new policy adopted by the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Based on the previous research, this paper involves two core parts:first, a forecast of both the cross-strait trade volume and the logistics volume by using a Grey System Model proposed by Professor Deng Julong; second, an evaluation of the cross-strait logistics models by using Fuzzy Evaluation Method. Both quantitative method and qualitative method were used for the analysis, among which, the results of quantitative part were obtained by using Excel and Matlab. The overall results of this research show that there are more potential for cross-strait business and Logistics Corporation. According to the forecast, both the trade volume and the logistics volume would increase dramatically in five years. Meanwhile, the trade gap is also further enlarged. Thus, the thesis put forwards a new cross-strait logistics model, which is a combination of the logistics enterprises alliance model and the zone-port interaction model.
