| The long-term and stable development of cross-border e-commerce enterprises requires the support of high-quality cross-border first-mile logistics providers.Crossborder first-mile logistics is one of the indispensable key factors in cross-border ecommerce.Choosing a cross-border first-mile logistics provider with suitable logistics costs can help companies save logistics costs and improve profitability.Selecting a cross-border first-mile logistics provider with strong logistics service capabilities can result in faster and more stable delivery times,reducing the risk of loss or damage to goods,providing timely and accurate logistics information,ensuring the interests of the company and customers,and increasing conversion rates and sales revenue.Choosing a logistics provider with a wide network coverage can help cross-border e-commerce expand its market,cover more countries and regions,and improve the company’s level of internationalization and market competitiveness.Therefore,conducting proper evaluation and rational selection of logistics providers for cross-border e-commerce will have a critical impact on the development of the industry itself.This study aims to evaluate and select cross-border first-mile logistics providers for Company A and address the issues faced by the company in selecting such providers.To achieve this,we will establish a comprehensive evaluation index system for cross-border first-mile logistics providers and effective evaluation and decision-making methods to assess and select the best cross-border first-mile logistics provider.We will first develop a suitable evaluation index system for Company A,including evaluation indicators for logistics service level,relevant qualifications,logistics costs,information management,and overseas transit warehouse services,among others.Next,we will employ various evaluation and decision-making methods,including the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,to evaluate and select multiple cross-border first-mile logistics providers.These evaluation methods will help Company A choose the most suitable cross-border first-mile logistics provider and enable comprehensive comparison and assessment of different providers,thereby improving the efficiency and quality of the entire cross-border e-commerce business.The analysis results indicate that each aspect of the evaluation index system has a certain impact on the evaluation and selection of cross-border first-mile logistics providers.In the specific evaluation results,suppliers G1,G2,and G3 with higher scores were selected as the cross-border first-mile logistics providers for Company A.A comparative analysis was conducted on the implemented effects,and the measures for implementation were explained.These research findings have relevant reference value for similar cross-border ecommerce enterprises and can assist them in better evaluating and selecting suitable cross-border first-mile logistics providers. |
