Agricultural Cooperation Between China And Israel After They Established Diplomatic Relations

This paper mainly introduces the contents of agricultural cooperation between China and Israel after they established diplomatic relations. It also briefly analyses the preconditions and effects of the cooperation. China is a large agricultual country, whereas Israel is a small country with good agricultual technology. The two countries have many similarities in natural resources, they also need each other in the course of agricultural development, plus the strong attention and support from the two governments. The agricultural cooperation between China and Israel is developing very actively and rapidly.Agricultural cooperation between Israel and China, mainly relates to agricultural training, demonstration farms and agricultural research projects etc. Every year Israel holds many agricultural training courses in China, through which Israel can provide agricultural training and guidance to China. Together with the Chinese government, Israel has established three demonstration farm projects, which are called "Beijing Sino-Israel Demeonstration Farm", "Beijing sino-Israel demeonstration Dairy farm" and "Xinjiang Sino-Israeli Demo Center for Agriculture in an Arid Zone". Israel has also carried out many different agricultural research projects with China. According to the specific circumstances of China, Israel has had different agricultural cooperation projects across China.These agricultural cooperation projects have given China the opportunity to see how advanced Israel's agricultural technologies are. China in doing so has then been able to introduce the technologies and products from Israel, such as water-saving irrigation technology, greenhouse technology, agricultural fertilizers and seeds.Agricultural cooperation between China and Israel has brought postive impact to both sides. From which, Israel has opened up the market, while China has learnt new technology. So we can say the cooperation has had a win-win result. Howerver, there are also some problems with the cooperation. But all these problems can be solved. Paying attention to these issues are good for the future of the cooperation. Agricultural cooperation between China and Israel has great potential and broad prospects.
