The Schedule Management Research On The Software Development Of Chengdu Telecom United Information Platform

Project management theory is a much newer field in management science, amongst which the schedule management is one of the important theory of project management and is used to develop the industrial and commercial projects by the means of reasonable plan and coordination. The schedule management is adopted in the whole procedure in the software development, therefore, only the schedule management is strictly implemented in software development, the time, the resources and the costs can be effectively controlled.The article dissertates the conception and methods into the project of the software development of Chengdu Telecom United Information Platform and analysed whole procedure of schedule management in the software development after studying the existing results of project management, schedule management and software development.The article firstly dissertates the definition and theory frame of project management, basic conception and theory about the software development, and the characteristics different from the project management of traditional sections. Secondly, the article also dissertates in detail the schedule management of the software development project of Chengdu Telecom United Information Platform by the schedule control theory and methods in project management. As per the requirements the characteristics and requirements of software developments, the article establishes a scientific control system and methods to manage the schedule of project, namely to establish a set of project schedule control system and method to realize the peoject schedule management during planning, schedule arrangement and the implementation of the project.The article dissertates the management work of the software development project of Chengdu Telecom United Information Platform, in the meantime, there is also some reference significance to the development of other IT system.
