Research On The Existing Railway Transport Supply Evaluation

With the development of our country's market economy system, the railway transport is faced with double pressure of economic quantitative and qualitative efficient transport demand. Under the market economy, a complete transport supply should include the transport quantity and quality aspects. Therefore, the research on the railway supply level is very significant, as "quality" and "quantity" required in the social economic development.Within the background of railway transport supply system, the paper has a research on the existing railway supply level, the details are as follows:Firstly, the basic theories of the supply of rail transport are analyzed.The paper confirms the definition of railway transport supply combined with the general concepts, Within the background of railway transport supply system, there has been four subsystems which contains the railway network infrastructure,mobile facility,operating plan,transport product. Meanwhile, the relating factors of railway transport supply has been confirmed.Secondly, from a macro point of view, the paper constructs the evaluation system for existing railway transport supply level based on railway network. With the method of hierarchical clustering, the evaluation indicators are simplified; also our country's railway transport supply level has been divided into four grades. With the system coordination degree model, the paper analyses our country's railway transport supply level in 2007 and obtains the corresponding results.Finally, from the microscopic point of view, the paper constructs the evaluation system for existing railway transport supply level based on the line. It determines the evaluation index from five aspects of supply capacity, supply efficiency, rapidity, convenience and reliability. At last, the paper carries on the example analysis by using the evaluation method of grey comprehensive evaluation method.
