The Study On The Exploitation Of The Folklore-based Tourism In Zhangjiajie

Folklore, as a country's or nation's traditional culture carrier, is being deeply exploited as tourism resources. Thus, folklore tourism has become one of the main trends of modern tourism. It is obvious that folklore tourism, natural scenery tourism, historical and cultural tourism have become the three pillars of China's tourism. Folklore-based tourism, due to its particular features and charm, has gained more and more tourists'attention and favor, which enables it to become the new point of growth and highlight of China's tourism industry. However, in the course of development, quite a few problems have arisen, such as cultural ecology destruction, staged folk culture, the serious vulgarized phenomenon, lack of creativity in product development, being eager for quick success and immediate gain, which seriously affect and restrict the further development of China's folklore-based tourism. In order to adapt market development requirements and seek bigger development opportunities, the folklore-based tourism must take the road of industrialization.Zhangjiajie is the biggest Tujia's neighborhood in China, whose Tujia's population accounts for more than 60% of the total population of the city. Therefore, Tujia's folklore-based tourism resources are abundant there. On the theory basis of folklore, tourism resources and marketing, this dissertation has conducted deep research on Zhangjiajie Tujia's folklore-based tourism resources development conditions, existing problems and development patterns on which it puts forward related proposals to the future sustainable exploitation of zhangjiajie Tujia's folklore-based tourism resources.The dissertation altogether is composed of eight chapters, which can be divided into the following several aspects according to the organizational structure:The first chapter illustrates the selected topic background and significance, research subject background, research significance main research methods and important and difficult reseach points.The second chapter is for the literature summary part, setting forth the current domestic and foreign folklore-based tourism research situation.The third chapter sorts out the basic concepts of folklore and folklore-based tourism and clarifies the relative basic concepts and the theories.The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh chapters are the main part of this dissertation. This part has analyzed the present exploitation and demand situation of Zhangjiajie Tujia's folklore-based tourism, pointed out the existing problems in Zhangjiajie Tujia's folklore-based tourism exploitation and then put forward exploitation principles, patterns and the main methods of promoting its exploitation level.The eighth chapter is the conclusion part, summarizing this dissertation research results, and forecasting Zhangjiajie Tujia's folklore-based tourism development.
