Regional economic growth is the reflected of the productivity in particular way and structure in spatial heterogeneous. As China is a spatial heterogeneous developing country, the regional scale and speed of economic growth will be inflected by spatial heterogeneous. By reviewing the background we found it was necessary and possible to study the provincial spatial factor productivity(SFP) of china, and the study would be both theoretical and practical significance.By reviewing the literature we found the current studies were almost study the total factor producity(TFP) of china based on spatial homogeneity. The study was intended to study the provincial SFP of China by spatial econometrics on the base of spatial heterogeneity. The study was based on economic growth theory and new economic geography theory. By using the panel data model of econometrics and spatial econometrics, we created different models to measure the provincial TFP and SFP of China. We ran the models an before by using the data of GDP, capita, labor, and spatial factor from 2000 to 2008. Firstly we can get the output elasticity of capita and labor both in GLS and GWR. Fatherly, we can get the provincial TFP of China both in both in GLS and GWR.Using the SFP measurement model, we can finally get the provincial SFP of China and also the contribution rate about provincial spatial factor to provincial economic growth. The results showed that, for the extensive economic growth model, the TFP is small in China. Because of there was significant spatial heterogeneity, SFP, which was one part of TFP, played a stable source role in the provincial economic growth, and the contribution rate of SFP to provincial economic growth was increased steadily. The study also proposed advices as follows:change the economic development model and take well use of TFP in the growth of provincial economy of China, pay attention to spatial factor and regional open and cooperation, take different policy to different area for the spatial heterogeneity.
