The Research On The Core Competence Of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry

In recent years, with the attention of Fujian provincial government and Wuyi Shan municipal government to Wuyi Rock Tea Industry, Wuyi Rock Tea Industry welcomes the rapid development . However, as the tea trade globalization progresses goes further, the competition among tea industry is becoming more and more intense. Changable external environment is obviously not conducive to the development that Wuyi Rock Tea Industry makes good use of external factors to promote its market competence. How to enhance the market competence of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry has become a major problem which still needs to be solved. Therefore, the paper holds that Wuyi Rock Tea Industry should focus on the use of intrinsic elements , deeply studies the core competence of the industry and enhances its core competence,and raises its market competence through the industry's core competence, thus promoting the further development of its industry. The following are the main contents of the paper.Chapter I, introduction.This chapter mainly covers the background,significance, literature review, the contents of the present research, innovations, basic methods and technology roadmap.Chapter II, the system analysis of the core competenc of tea industry. This chapter is the pre-bedding of chapter III in order to build the evaluation index system of the core competence of tea industry, and it can be divided into four parts. Firstly, in the strict definition of the relevant concepts, the chapter proposes and explains the concept of the core competence of tea industry. Secondly, it illustrates six basic characteristics of the core competence of tea industry.Thirdly, it summers up the five elements of the core competence of tea industry according to its basic characteristics which are combined with the relevant point of viewes. Finally,this chapter gives the detailed discussion of the interaction between the five elements of the core competence of tea industry,and reveales formation mechanism of the core competence of tea industry.Chapter III, the design of evaluation index system of the core competence of tea industry and the selction of evaluation method. Based on the Chapter II, chapter III provides the further discussion about evaluation index system of the core competence of tea industry, and it can be divided into two parts.Firstly, it discusses the five major elements of the core competence of tea industry in details and builds a set of evaluation index system according to certain evaluation design principles. Secondly, it choses Analytical Hicrarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method as evaluation methods of the core competence of tea industry by comparative analysis of existing evaluation methods, and illustrates the data sources of evaluation and methods used in evaluation.Chapter IV, the diagnosis of the core competence of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry. This chapter can be divided into three parts. Firstly, it uses SWOT model to illustrate a comprehensive interpretation of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry, analyzes the current competitive advantage, competitive disadvantage, opportunities and threats of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry,and clearfies market position of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry. Secondly, because Wuyi Rock Tea Industry is tea industry, by combing research questionnaire data,it uses the evaluation index system which has been built in the chapter III, and gets an conclusion that the core competence level of Wuyi Rock Industry is"normal". Finally, it gives a comprehensive analysis of the results of the evaluation which lays the groundwork for chapter V about how to enhance the core competence of Wuyi Rock Industry.Chapter V, the proposal about enhancing the core competence of Wuyi Rock Tea industry. This chapter is mainly based on the Chapter IV, on the evaluation results of the core competence of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry, aiming to explore the strategies about how to enhanc the core competence of Wuyi Rock Tea Industry.Chapter VI, the conclusions and prospects. This chapter summarizes the relevant findings of this study, analyzes the shortages of this study, and gives the direction for future work.
