Enterprise Core Competitiveness Evaluation Index System To Create And Empirical Test

Core competence is the basis for enterprises to get continuous competitive advantage, which is the fundamental assurance for them to develop. Our Chinese enterprises are facing a new round of competition, as for the economic globalization and entrance into WTO. It is the competition capability that decides whether you can get continuous competitive advantage. While the current research mainly focus on the theoretical level, lacking of positive and micro basis, especially the quantitative analysis,meanwhile the current financial analysis relies too much on traditional financial indexes, which seldom give research on the process, sources and prolonged strategy analysis.This thesis takes the characteristics of core competence as its main clue, based on which makes some research from both internal and external way, and then finds corresponding indexes to establish and also improve the evaluation index system. By selecting 32 household Appliance Enterprises listed, I will do the Logistic Regression Analysis to test what is relationship between core competence and these characteristics. This thesis also uses factor analysis to give score to each company, in order to get a new competitive rank for each one.
