Research On Government Regulation In China Taxi Industry

With the rapid economic development and rising living standards, China's taxi industry has achieved rapid development in the urban passenger transport play an increasingly important role, gradually revealed some contradictions and problems. Government regulation of the taxi industry policy has become the focus of attention, and has been widely questioned. This article related to government regulation theory, using theoretical analysis and empirical research methods combined, analysis of the taxi industry, government regulation problems, and propose specific regulatory measures, government regulation for the relevant agencies to better implement the industry management decision making.This paper introduces the basic concepts of the taxi and the course of development in China, explained the definition of government regulation, the system introduces the public interest theory of regulation, regulatory capture theory and the important theory of rent-seeking theory of regulation, introduced on this basis the system of access for Taxi Regulation, total control, price regulation and quality of services in four parts such as regulation, government regulation and further elaborated the theoretical basis and the need to regulate the taxi industry. Next article lists our taxi industry event of the typical mass case, and analyzes the outstanding problems in the taxi industry. Through analysis of the problem, the paper give the suggestion of how reasonable our Taxi Regulation puts forward countermeasures, and reasonable fee paid by user fees, to establish a flexible pricing mechanism to instead of restrictions on operation model, the dynamic growth system and build capacity institutional mechanisms for building fair game, so that the taxi industry to meet consumer needs and remain healthy, orderly and stable development.
