Research On The Urban Orbit Transportation Pricing Methods Based On Life Cycle Theories

As it is known to all that urban orbit transportation is of great significance to alleviate the current urban traffic congestion. By research in the ticket pricing policy, analyze the characteristics of urban orbit transportation better, we can further rationalize the pricing system, and the demand, it can also provide references to make related policies in future and thus give full play to urban orbit transportation in the urban public transport system in the functional advantages.This paper commences from analyzing the present condition of urban orbit transportation price in domestic and international. It analysis the merits and shortcomings of the ticket theory style and fare model in the process of orbit transportation price. Then it make an analysis on the urban orbit transportation in-depth, including sector-specific and product characteristics, business model, stages of development, as well as the impact of these characteristics on the pricing. Based on that urban orbit transpiration has different characteristics in different stages of development, research shows that it should be targeted at different stages of the applicable pricing models.In the early stage of urban orbit transportation development, this paper uses the model of considering making full use of the capacity. This model combines theory of elasticity, and well reflects the objectives that pricing police should base on the passenger flow volume in the early stage. Additionally, it makes a discussion of the matching police of pricing policy. In the adolescence stage of the development, based on previous studies, this paper uses game-based analysis model, this model is based on the characteristics of network as well as the fierce competition in this development stage, and it focuses on analyzing the competition between the urban orbit transportation and conventional bus system, then gives their pricing policy and take Guangzhou Metro and conventional bus for example, to conduct empirical analysis.Finally, it makes a brief summary and points out the inadequacies of this paper and the need for further discussion.
