Study On The Coupling Development Between Tourism Industry And County Economy In The Less Developed Region

Tourism starts a little late in Fenghuang County,Hunan Province,but recently it has got a rapid development and caused a postive economic and social effects to the local residents.At the same time,the economic impact on mountainous rural areas and farmers is constantly increasing.However,when the tourism industry develops to a certain stage,it needs some economic support and the regional economy also demands the powerful motivity from tourism industry.That is,the tourism industry together with its regional economic development is mutually reinforcing.From this perspective, this article discusses the mutual development problem of tourism industry and county economy in Fenghuang County,combining theoretical research with empirical analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis methods.Firstly,It analizes how the development of county ecomomy affects the tourism industry in Fenghuang County qualitatively,illustrating from tourism resources combination,tourism regional conditions,new rural construction and leading investment from the government.Secondly, from industry structure,tourism revenue and tourism employment,the paper illustrates how the development of tourism industry impacts county economy in Fenghuang county.Furthermore,it establishes the regression model about the tourism industry and the economic growth in Fenghuang county,concludes the concrete quantity relation between tourism revenue and Gross Domestic Produce,and makes a Granger causality test between them. Finally,in light of the physics of coupling fuction,based on the synergetics and the principles of scientific,this paper designs an index system for quantitative measurement that data are easy to get and operate,and establishes an evaluation model to analyse the coupling cooridation degree between the tourism industry and county economy in Fenghuang county.It also puts forward the countermeasures and proposals for Fenghuang county about the benign interaction development between tourism industry and county ecomomy.
