| As it had special geographical location and climatic conditions, the Turpan area owned rich resources for tourism, and it has been one of the earliest area of tourism developing in Northwest region. With the continuous development of the tourism industry, it promoted the economy of Turpan, and it also had a great bad impact on the environment. The developing economy would provide a sound infrastructure for the tourism, promoting the development of tourism, while the excessive developing speed of economy brought certain destruction to the ecological environment, affecting the environment. And the development of economy would provide some support of finance and technology for the improvement of the ecological environment. It had an effect of impediment on the development of economy and tourism from the destruction of the ecological environment. The tourism, the economy and the environment had a relationship of reinforcing, interrelating and influencing each other mutually, which the three being formed a large system in this article. The relationship of feedback and coupled coordination between the tourism, economy and ecological environment, which related the three is in a station of sustainable development or not,as well as the development of Turpan region is consistent with sustainable development path or not. In this paper, we were on the basis of the theory of sustainable development, in the guide of coupling coordinate theory, the use of system dynamics, from the point of view of holistic and systemic, combined with quantitative research and qualitative research method, we would study the interaction relationship and feedback mechanisms of the three subsystems including tourism, economy and ecological environment and build the dynamic simulation model for tourism,economy and ecological environment in Turpan area. And we would provide some certain scientific basis and proposal for the optimization, sustainable development,control and regulation tourism, economy and ecological environment of Turpanregion. The main findings were as following:1. We looked at the problem from the system’s view, and linked the tourism,economy and ecological environment into a complex structure with a number of factors in Turpan area, whose the various elements were linked, mutual promotion and mutual restraint, being a complex system and we analyzed the coupling relationship between the three systems on the whole.2. In the study, we used the research method of combining quantitative and qualitative,with the guidance of theory of sustainable development, coupling theory as well as Environment Kuznets Curve(EKC) and other theories, discussing the relationship of tourism, economy and the environment in Turpan area. On this basis, we constructed conceptual model of tourism- economy- ecological environment coupled using the system dynamics(Stella models) for Turpan area, and did simple simulation model predictions as well as a simple analysis for the number of tourism revenue, total GDP and "waste quantity" and others.3. In this study, analyzed from the coupling relationship between tourism, economy,and ecological environment of Turpan region, we got that results: it had a mutual role in promoting the tourism industry and regional economy in Turpan area, it had a interactive coupled relationship between tourism and the ecological environment, of which the tourism being involving food, housing, transportation, travel, shopping,entertainment and others, spurring the growth of economy. Then, the three systems were in the state of basic coordination, basically in line with the path of sustainable development.4. Finally, in the study, we constructed the conceptual model of the coupled relationship on the tourism, economy and ecological environment based on the system dynamics in Turpan area, and did a simple analysis, as well as providing a number of promotion for the better development of tourism, economy and ecological environment in Turpan region, to promote the sustainable development in the Turpanarea. |
