With the deepening of economic globalization, rapid changes in science and technology, the contribution of science, technology and high technology industry to the development of regional economy and international competitiveness is increasingly evident. The trade of high-tech products is also becoming an important part of trading activities, and important indicator of a country's level of technological development and the ability to obtain long-term interests. In 1999, China puts forward the "trade through technology" strategy. The core of the "Technology and trade" strategy is to vigorously promote high-tech products export, to transform traditional industries by using the high-tech industry, to optimize export structure and improve the quality, technical content and added value of export products and enhance competitiveness in international markets to promote foreign trade up. In 2006, the export of high-tech product was 281.5 billion U.S. dollars. The growth rate was 29%. The Increase of the proportion of high-tech exports suggested that the high-tech products had become the new incentives of China's export growth after "science and technology and trade" strategy implemented in recent years. However, there are also some of more prominent issues while high-tech products export trade has developed rapidly. It has characteristics as mainly foreign-led company and processing trade, Europe and the United States as the main target market, which make it suffered a greater influence in the global financial crisis in 2007. The export growth rate decreased and became lower than the whole export growth rate for the first time, and the proportion of total exports also declined. In the second half of 2009 the economy started to recover after financial crisis and our high-tech products ushered in "post-crisis era". The research of how to solve the above-mentioned series of issues, by what means and measures to prevent the high-tech exports to fall has important theoretical and practical value to promote the sustainable development of China's foreign trade, which also takes a higher requirement for companies to build their own ability, and will also be a new test for business managers.By applying the theory of international trade and existing literature about export of high-tech products, this paper analyzes the status and characteristics of China's high-tech product exports, the main elements for the constraint and problems that restricted the development of high-tech product export. On the basis of the above-mentioned contents by using SWOT Analysis, the paper makes a comprehensive and systematic study on the internal advantages and weakness, external opportunities and challenges that China's high-tech product export is facing in the post-crisis era, points out the factors of advantage, weakness, opportunity and threat of China's high-tech product export, and puts forward the corresponding development strategies in allusion to these factors.
