The Research On Water Pricing In City On Sustainable Development

Water is one of the indispensable natural and environmental resources on the earth. Currently, water crisis has been greatly restricting the sustainable development of social economy and threatening the survival of human beings throughout the world. Therefore, along with the rapid development of economy, facilitating the protection and economization of water resource is very necessary, and implementing the optimal configuration of water resource is very important. One key way to the implementation of the optimal water configuration is to utilize a reasonable water price measurement.The research of water price has been conducted and extended under the background of resource economy, and is also the important direction of the research of natural resource price. The research of water price is related with many research fields. Based on the viewpoint of sustainable development, this paper applies the economic theories into the investigation of water price starting from the perspective of harmonious of resource, environmental management and economic policies, and studies the water price in cities by incorporating demonstration research, criterion research, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Firstly, this paper analyzes the principle of water price formation by employing rental, exterior and price theories of economy, and then presents resource, engineering, and environmental water prices that should be incorporated into the sustainable developmental water price. Secondly, this paper demonstrates existing methods of forming water prices in cities, and point out their advantages and disadvantages. Under the direction of sustainable development, this paper combines the main factors that infect water prices in cities in order to conclude a basic principle to which water prices in cities should obey. Thirdly, this paper emphasize the research of water price content, composition and computation based on sustainable development, and build a computation model and price scope by employing western economy, mathematical economy and statistics. Finally, based on the condition of water prices in cities of our country and the requirement water price innovation, this paper deeply analyzes the main problems underlying the water prices in cities and reasons, and presents some countermeasures and suggestions for the water price innovation in cities of our country.
