Research On Large-scale Muskmelon Cropping At YanLiang District Within The View Of STS

In the 21st century, the agriculture in China has come into a new stage. As we all know, the further development of agriculture depend on the progress of science and technology and its regularization as well as sustainable development. The regularization development of farm products is the basis of realizing the agriculture modernization. To accelerate the regularization business of farm products can not only cope with the big trend of agriculture development in the world, but also is in line with the current situation of countryside reform in Shanxi province. How to promote the change from extensive management to regularization management so as to consolidate the foundation of agriculture, to prompt the continuous development of agriculture and countryside economy and to increase the peasants'income is an important issue at present. Yanliang district is located in the suburb of Xi'an, which has a large population and small cultivated field per person. The secondary and tertiary industry are quite prosperous, while the primary industry has lags behind .Consequently, the agriculture regularization has become necessary.This essay tries to do a research on the large-scale farm products planting, industry business and agriculture fast development in one region (this essay take the muskmelon industry at Yanliang in Xi'an as an example) by using the method of science, technology, philosophy, society and systematic theory. This essay firstly states the conception and characteristic of muskmelon technology's industrialization. In the following part, it analyzes the advantage and necessity of muskmelon's industrialization at Yanliang, and illustrates that the large-scale farm products in one region should choose one kind with feature as its top priority. At last, this essay states some basic theory of regularization business from the angle of important factors, systematic relation in agriculture industrialized development.This essay contains six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, which tells the background, purpose and significance of this essay, the present study at home and abroad, and the research method. The second one is about the basic theory of STS and muskmelon regularization's development, which focus on the relation between science,technology,society and economy. The third one is about problem of muskmelon regularization development at Yanliang. The forth one is about the technology analysis of muskmelon, which focus on three kinds of technology and the method of promoting the technology. The fifth one is about the systematic analysis, including financial, taxation and insurance aspects. The last chapter is end.
