Economic Evaluation And Environment Impact Assessment Of Shizuishan Power Plant Desulfurization Project

Based on summarizing and analyzing domestic and foreign development status of desulfurization and evaluation methods, the paper evaluated the economy and environmental impact of desulfurization project in the Shizuishan power plant. Cost-benefit analysis method evaluated costs and revenues which the desulfurization created. And it made a sensitivity analysis to the factors which affected the cost of desulfurization. Empowerment evaluation method evaluated the air environment, before and after the installation of FGD, where Shizuishan power plant located. The results of economic evaluation and environment impact assessment were shown that the project had brought significant economic benefits to the power plant and improved the ambient air environment. The results were consistented with the trend of actual situations. It can clearly be seen that these methods could be used to evaluate the desulfurization project's economics and environmental impact and the results could provide a reference of desulfurization project for power plants...
