| County economy is an important part of national economy. It connects the economies of cities, towns and countries. In the Report on the Work of the Government of 2010, Wen Jiabao, premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, pointed out that"We will strengthen county economies, improve infrastructure and environmental protection in county towns and hub towns, guide an orderly flow of nonagricultural industries and rural people to small towns, and encourage returned rural migrant workers to start businesses in their hometowns."To strengthen county economies is conducive to promoting the sustainable development of national economy and the development of urban-rural integration, which is also an important way to resolve problems faced by agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. In addition, it is of vital significance to comprehensively push forward the construction of the west coast strait economic zones and achieve sound and rapid development.However, there exist relatively big differences among the development modes in counties of different types in different periods. Suburban counties have unique location advantages and their choices of development mode decide weather they can utilize their advantages and achieve leaping development. In view of this, this study mainly circumfuses"what kind of development mode should Minhou County choose, to what degree has the mode been developed, and how to keep to the path the mode should stick to". The exploration to the economy development mode and path of Minhou County is of great assistance in providing references for the development of other suburban counties.Research methods of this study mainly include literature research method, comprehensive evaluation method, SWOT analysis, and combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, etc. Firstly, the author analyses the current economic situation of Minhou County from the aspects of its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, proposes the new industrialization and new urbanization cooperatively driving development mode, and explores and analyses the motivations of choosing different modes. Secondly, the author evaluates the development state under the mode according to the industrialization structure transformation mode proposed by Chenery, estimates the level of urbanization by means of the empirical formula obtained through experts'empirical study, evaluates the relationship between industrialization and urbanization by UPI, and analyses the driving effects of present development of industrialization and urbanization to county economy by using MATLAB software. Finally, according to the development level of current county industrialization and urbanization and their relationship and driving effects, the author figures out the development path of the new industrialization and new urbanization cooperatively driving mode and puts forwards some feasible countermeasures.Research results:(1)The comprehensive strengthes and weaknesses of Minhou County, the national and local development strategies and the internal and external competition pressure decide that Minhou County should not continue the traditional industrialization . Instead of following the enclosed traditional industrial development path of "Treatment after Pollution", Minhou County should implement the strategy of"combining bringing in and going out", stick to its regional characteristic and the new industrialization and new urbanization cooperatively driving development mode to realize its economy's leaping development.(2)Minhou County is in the later period of its Middle Stage of Industrialization, with its urbanization severely lagging behind the economic development level and industrialization level. As the primary driving force of Minhou County's economic development is industry, urbanization possesses relatively strong potential of leading the development.(3)Minhou County should implement the strategy of"give high priority to the development of new urbanization, persistently develop and strengthen agglomeration economy and agglomeration towns, improve the level of new industrialization and finally realize urban-rural integration"and the path of"adhere to people oriented policy and increase human capital in the county, speed up urbanization spaces and balance urban and rural development, use informatization to propel industrialization and improve its level, enhance the construction of industrial park and cultivate cluster economy, and accelerate scientific and technological progress and reduce energy consumption and pollution."... |
