| Performance evaluation is the core issue in any economy organizations. But withthe rapid development of the social economy, the traditional performance evaluationbased on financial data is facing challenge as the disadvantage of performanceevaluation based on financial data is revealing. Traditional performance evaluation isjust the financing measure of past results; it focus on internal factors of theorganizations but ignore the external factors; new economies can not be measured asit is not suitable for the requirements of information economy. Therefore, theestablishment of a more scientific enterprise strategic performance evaluation systemis very important to businesses, as well as the rapidly developing logistics enterprisesin China.BSC is a tool of strategic performance evaluation. BSC is different fromtraditional financial evaluation because the integration between BSC and enterprisestrategy, focus of BSC, easy to be monitored and controlled, and the evaluation offuture's performance. The purpose of the thesis is to help logistics enterprisesestablish the strategic- oriented performance management system through case studyin accordance with BSC theory.Firstly, the thesis introduces the characteristics of logistics enterprises and theirperformance evaluation system, frame of BSC theory, dimensions and the researchsituation all around the world. Then, the thesis introduces the advantages of usingBSC in logistics enterprises. Based on the above research, the thesis makessuggestions to logistics enterprises'BSC implementation, including strategy planning,strategy map, KPI design, KPI ratio, performance system evaluation and the relationwith enterprise strategy management, etc. At last, X Logistics'use of BSC isintroduced and researched as a case study.Based on BSC theory and case study, the thesis provides comprehensive and deepanalysis of usage of BSC in logistics strategy management, which is helpful forlogistics enterprises managerial improvement. |
