The self-developed FCRS by Wuxi Fuel Injection Equipment Research Institute have great advantage for brand, administrate, capability, environmental, gasoline saving。In this paper, the Fault Tree Analysis(FTA), the Process of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) theories were used to analyze the failure reasons on the high-pressure fuel common rail system's(FCRS) pilot production and testing of vehicles. After analysis, the poor cleanliness of the electro-controlled injector, the core components of the common rail system is the key potential failure mode resulting . In the system failure. Finding the working procedure factors that affect the cleanliness, making process-related improvements are to be implemented so as to improve the injector's cleanliness, manufacturing process quality stability and product reliability. Through the establishment and effective operation of the cleanliness quality management. Sub-system to ensure that the major scientific projects of the domestic high-pressure common rail system are to be industrialized successfully. We evaluate about FTA and PFMEA's basic theory and methods to bring up the evaluation principle for Severity, often, detective, and take consideration of Wuxi Fuel Injection Equipment Research Institute's actual situation, also through the PFMEA review of inject process, we explore for the problem of how to improve inject's cleanness, and conclude for an effective solution to reduce the risk possibility, we collect the actual data for before correction and after correction to prove the solution is possible and also the reliability is increased, it is validated that PFMEA and FTA are used successfully to acquire the better economic benefit and particle benefit.
