Oee Improvement Of F Company

The theory of TPM has developed and been applied for years, but many companies implementation of TPM fails lacking of data support and effective improvements. In this thesis the author summarizes, analyzes and improves the overall equipment efficiency based on the traditional TPM knowledge with implementing the electronic information management system in F company.The author analyzes the six losses in the 3 dimensions of product quality, equipment utilization and equipment running performance. In order to collect enough data for yield improvement, the author designs the automatic online yield data collection system. At the same time the author setups the real time electronic equipment utilization data collection system to monitor the equipment running status. Based on the collected equipment running data and analysis on the possible reasons, the author implements the single minute exchange of die(SMED) improvements on the equipments which are highly impacted by the change-over and implements continuous closed-loop improvements for the machine problems.The overall production capacity has been improved dramatically after we implemented the overall equipment efficiency improvement projects. In the meantime the online yield monitor system and the equipment running status monitor system will benefit the future continuous improvements in F company.
