As an important form of payment in E-commerce, Mobile payment has convenience, fast, safe and other features,it can meet consumer's demand for easy payment at anytime and anywhere. Meanwhile it can create new profit point for mobile operators,to increase their economic benefits,enhance the brand benefits as well as social benefits. Mobile payment has opened a new direction for the development of electronic payment.So the research on mobile payment has certain forward-looking and practical significance.Mobile payment is a complex industry across the telecommunication finance, IT services and other industries.The success of Mobile payment needs the cooperation of the industrial chain partners, neither side can dominate the entire market. Mobile payment in China has gone through gradually development, formed four models-mobile operators as the main body, commercial banks as the main body, third party payment company as the main body, banks and operators together as the main body.The corresponding development of mobile payment services have also begun to take shape.As the mobile operator with the largest market share, China Mobile has decided to view mobile payment as one of the most important business. The whole network mobile payment platform in Hunan has been successfully on-line in March 2009.China Mobile has created revolutionary innovation in the on-site payment theory, launched a 2.4GHz's RFID-SIM card. The services based on the whole network mobile payment platform are under trial commercial operations.The research in this paper is carried out under such a backgroundThis paper is composed of six parts:first it introduces research background, research situation both in China and abroad, research content and structure, as well as the innovative point;second it discusses the definition,classification, and techniques of mobile payment and it gives a overview of mobile payment development in China and Abroad, summarizes the successful experiences in Japan and Korea;third it introduces the framework of the China mobile's whole network mobile payment platform, fourth based on the business model theory by Harvard professor Clayton and Chairman of Innosigh Mark Johnson,it gives the business model of China mobile's mobile payment, analyses the business model of remote payment services and on-site payment services;fifth points out the problems in mobile payment services and gives relating recommendations;Sixth it gives the prospects for further research.
